Privacy policy

Effective October 20, 2026. Tankette.io is operated by LittleDot Technologies LLC (“we”).

What we collect

• A random player id stored in your browser, so you can come back to your progress. It isn't linked to who you are.
• Game data: the name you type, your coins, gems, items, stats, missions, and a record of purchases and rewards.
• If you sign in with Google: your Google account id, your email address (only if Google has verified it) and your name.
• If you sign in with Facebook: the id Facebook gives our app for you, and your name. We don't request your email or friends.
• If you sign in with Discord: your Discord user id and display name. We don't request your email, servers or friends.
• Leaderboards: the name you play under and your best scores are shown publicly on the leaderboards (today, this week and all time) and, while you play, in the list of players online.
• Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to limit abuse (connection and account-creation limits). Those counters expire within an hour.
• Game performance: while you play, the game reports its frame rate, network delay (ping) and whether you're on a touch device, once a minute. We only use this in aggregate (per server) to keep the game running smoothly.

How we use it

To run the game, save your progress across devices, prevent abuse and cheating, and answer support requests. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Our service provider Cloudflare stores and processes it on our behalf: it runs the game's servers and database, including temporary data such as sign-in steps and abuse-limit counters. Google, Facebook and Discord handle sign-in under their own privacy policies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the game: menu → Delete account. This immediately erases your profile, items, purchase records, sign-in links and leaderboard entries. Guest progress that is never signed in is stored the same way, and you can delete it the same way.

Children

The game is for players aged 6 and up, and we follow the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for players under 13.

• Guest play uses only a random player id and, briefly, the IP address. We use these only to run the game, save progress and prevent abuse, not to identify or contact a child, and not for advertising.
• Signing in with Google, Facebook or Discord, which shares an email address or name, is for players 13 and older, or with a parent's permission. If we learn that we collected such information from a child under 13 without a parent's consent, we delete it.
• Parents can ask us to review or delete their child's data, or stop further collection, at tankette@littledot.tech. They can also delete the account directly in the game (menu → Delete account).
